Bad experience

I was a gest at the hotel while I was in the sports room I had a phone call That had to step outside to answer while I was in a speaker talking i had this security person coming screaming at me to move away from the door after I finished I went to dhow my anger of the way he talked to me waving with his hand as I was some kind of homeless he told me to leave the property I told him I'm a gest here he replied I don't care I walked away and will never stay there for me or my employee or any of my friends and family . He was very short & Stocky with beard like a bull dog.

Please tell everyone is coming to Vegas to stay away from any MGM resorts specially the cosmopolitan and their junk yard dogs

The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas - Dirty room
We came to the cosmopolitan in Las Vegas and found the toilet bowl full of urine, hair in the bathtub and sinks and dust and hair on the phone. The room smelled and the place was dirty. They took more than 3 hours to get us a new room. They were slow to rectify the problem. A real disgusting experience with terrible customer service.

order dinner half the order doesnt show up. I can go back tomorrow and get the food. covid turned this into a bumpkin destination for all the proud boys and trump supporters. if you wear button up shirts with cut off sleeves this is your hotel. They treat everyone terribly and need at least 100 employees at all times. If you want AC that a room change and an extra charge.gofor

Horrible Customer Service

I'm updating my review based on the many experiences with the booking Representative and the lack of follow up with a customers complaint. I have stayed in this hotel in the past many times but my experience with booking my reservation was upsetting. The representative made me feel like I couldn't afford my stay at The Cosmopolitan. I put a complaint the same night after booking my stay for this coming weekend. No one I mean no one has follow up with me in the last 2 in half weeks it's beyond sad how management allows this type of behavior from their representatives. This shows The Cosmopolitan doesn't care about what type of services their customers are getting all they care is about the $$$$$.

I was very upset i asked 3 differet cocktail ladies and all three said that wasnt my station and all three said they were going to call someone and no one showed up i spent over 300 at the casino. I never had this happened to me before. I am always in vegas.

When we arrived in Vegas we checking into our room and then hit the strip. We got back on about 7:00am and took a shower only to realize that the shower heard was moldy. We called his housekeeping and once they arrived to clean the room they also noticed that there was blood on the sheets. We complained to front desk and Kristen (Kirsten) was very unapologetic and stated that she did not have a room to move us into. She did offer to waive $30. Wtf

Managerial incompetene

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
Never in my life have I experienced such managerial incompetence, from the moment we arrived and we begun to queue, after an hour we had finally come to the desk to find out they wanted to charge an additional $358 despite us already paying for the room in full prior to our visit, the managers were extremely unhelpful and continued to repeat over and over again the same phrases without offering any comfort or proper explanation as to why they were asking for this amount when the rooms were already expensive. After refusing to help we had no option to pay or we were told we would not be able to stay, after a 10 hour flight we had no where else to go and if we refused to pay we risked losing all of the initial funds we had already spent on the room. Throughout our trip we continued to receive rude service from staff clearly lacking the proper training to run the hotel. It’s a shame as the hotel was really pretty and the room wasn’t lovely, such a shame that it’s being run poorly and unfortunately I will never be returning to this hotel again. I had planned this trip for my 21st birthday and after all of the aggravation from this trip my birthday was pretty much ruined.

We booked a room at this hotel with two queen beds- there were 3 adults. They gave our room to someone else and put us in a room with a pull out couch and king bed. That was not what we paid extra for! The couch bed hurt my back and the front desk staff was very rude. I will never stay here again- save your money and stay somewhere else!

Arrogant and *** doorman

I am a frequent traveler to vegas and decided to give the Cosmo a try. I checked out this morning feeling like I had a great stay until I encountered your arrogant doorman. He may think he can be an *** to the taxi cab drivers, but make no mistake that I will accept that kind of behavior from an angry out of control doorman. I will not be back because of him. I will gamble and stay other places in the future. I am a frequent traveler to vegas and decided to give the Cosmo a try. Cosmopolitan Hotel Has a 5 star rating and that is a joke.

My wife and I set up a planned vacation checking into the Cosmopolitan Hotel on April 4, 2013. (our flight was late and we checked in April 5th at 3:45 a.m.) We had requested a terrace studio fountain view. What we got was the fountain view along with roof equipment (air conditioners). Our room was not clean and when we went to use one of the two towels we noticed a huge hole in the middle of one of the towels. One of the towel racks was pulled out of the wall. We were charged a $25.00 a night (including April 4th) charge for resort fees). I asked if they would wave the first night sense we were not there and was told NO. Upon check out I called the manager and was told that I had service bar fees. I told them I had not used anything from the service bar. They said because I moved items I was charged for them. There was no sign on the refrigerator indicating that you would not use the refrigerator. Overall the hotel was dirty and the false rating of 5 star should not be there. Customer service is not even in their vocabulary. If you want customer service and cleanliness go to Bellagio. A vacation is in my opinion something to help you relax and be happen. Not unhappy and treated like you don't matter.
